Band Bio
Axis was formed by Steven Blackwell with the single purpose of creating a project with meaning, motivation and endurance. A musical monolith to carry the voice of those dissatisfied with the world around them. Axis has self released their first full length CD titled Death & Rebirth with 14 tracks and a 5 track EP Polaer. Visit http://www.axissatellite.vpweb.com/ for contact info. Axis has opened for acts such as Angelspit, Lords of Acid, Slick Idiot, Kill Hannah, Haujobb, and Thrill Kill Kult. Steven Blackwell and Jason Doherty formed Axis in 2003 and grew to a 5 piece before settling on a duo with Vixx and Steven.
Axis is influenced by many different types of art. With a goal of bringing together fans of all sub culture music, Axis has strived to write songs that are meaningful and accessible. They work hard to not be defined by any one genre and stick to what they feel.
